A free-standing dip station takes a square metre of floor to do one movement.
Bolted to the wall, this one takes none. The parallel bars sit off a steel frame that carries your bodyweight through the wall rather than through a base plate, so there is no rocking at the bottom of a rep and nothing for a member to walk into. Dips, straight-bar knee raises and assisted work off a band all run from it. In a boxing gym where the ring and the mats have already claimed the floor, wall-mounted is the version that fits. We supply the rawbolts, so install day needs a drill and nothing from the hardware shop.
