Throw a punch at a double end bag and it comes back at you. Anchored top and bottom by elastic cables, it springs back unpredictably the way a moving opponent does, which is the point. This is the drill TITLE's professional athletes use to sharpen timing, hand speed and accuracy before a fight, and a stationary heavy bag cannot replicate it.
What you get
- Powerhide shell: TITLE's durable synthetic, built to absorb repeated impact without the upkeep leather demands.
- Red and black panelling: Panels meet at a centre seam beneath the white TITLE logo box.
- Reinforced attachment loops: Stitching is doubled at both the top and bottom cable points, where the load concentrates.
- Cables included: Ceiling and floor cables are in the box, so it hangs between a floor anchor and a ceiling hook on day one.
- Serviceable: Spare cables and a replacement bladder are both sold separately when the originals wear out.
Who it's for
Boxers past the beginner stage who want sharper reflexes and faster hands rather than more raw power. If your combinations land clean on a heavy bag but fall apart against a moving target, this is the bag that closes that gap. Also a strong fit for coaches running timing and accuracy drills with a class.
Frequently asked questions
What does a double end bag train that a heavy bag does not?
A double end bag trains timing, accuracy, head movement and hand speed. Because it rebounds unpredictably after every punch, you have to read it and reset, a heavy bag stays where you put it and rewards power instead.
What do I need to hang a double end bag in South Africa?
You need a ceiling fixing point and a floor anchor. The top and bottom elastic cables are included with this bag. TITLE's base plate with carabiner works well overhead where you have a concrete slab, and an S-hook or carabiner handles the floor end.
Is Powerhide or leather better for a double end bag?
Powerhide is the lower-maintenance option and holds up well to daily impact, which suits most home and gym use. Leather holds its shape and grain longer and feels better under the hand, at a higher price. TITLE makes both.
Order the TITLE Powerhide Double End Bag and start training the timing that beats power.
Care Instructions
All Heavy Bags & Speciality Bags
- Wipe the shell down with a damp cloth and mild soap after heavy sessions, then let it air dry. Sweat sits on PVC without soaking in, so a wipe does the whole job
- No solvents, no bleach, no alcohol-based cleaners. They strip the finish off a PVC shell and take the printed logo with it
- Keep the bag out of direct sun. UV hardens a PVC shell and splits the seams, and a bag hung outside or in front of a window ages years faster than one indoors
- Check the webbing straps, box stitching and D-rings every few months, and again after anyone heavy has been working the bag. Straps fail before anything else on a hung bag, and they give you warning first
- Do not open or repack the bag. TITLE bags ship filled with textile shred, packed to the stated weight. Textile holds its shape under repeated impact, and nothing inside needs your attention
- Do not leave a bag lying on a concrete floor for months. The filling settles into the shape you leave it in
- Wear wraps and gloves. A bare-knuckle habit marks the shell and shortens its life as much as it shortens yours
Double-End Bags & Speed Bags
- Wipe the shell with a damp cloth after each session
- Air dry away from heat and direct sun
- Leather only: condition every few months so it does not dry out and crack
- Powerhide and synthetic: clean with mild soap and dry in shade. Direct sunlight degrades synthetic material
- Never submerge and never machine wash
- Deflate the bag or drop it to low pressure if it is going away for a season, so the seams are not held under load for months
