1800 x 1200mm gives you a full training square. Partner work, takedown practice, floor conditioning and long stretching sequences all fit inside the edges, and a coach can kneel alongside without stepping onto tile. Take 50mm where bodies go down at speed, 40mm for general floor work, and 25mm where the mat lives over carpet. Velcro joining locks several of these into a matted area for a club floor or a school hall, and the PVC cover wipes down between groups.
